What is your background?
I grew up on a small 50-acre farm in the thumb of Michigan, raising Scottish Highlanders. After leaving high school early to join the Army. I served six years and two deployments (Iraq / Afghanistan) as an Infantryman with the 101st Airborne and two years with the Michigan National Guard.
I just sort of fell into sales while working with a friend on a startup hard cider company in Michigan. What followed was a decade-plus in the beverage industry (Craft breweries, cideries, Liquid Death, Poppi). I’ve been blessed with a beautiful wife who keeps me in-check (I need it) and four awesome kids. I collect hobbies like my youngest collects rocks. I spend my free time competitive shooting, hunting, fishing, hiking, woodworking and reading.
What do you do at HiViz?
Regional Sales Manager - Midwest

So far, my day to day has been long truck rides with Dan visiting dealers and fire stations, followed by incessantly bothering Peter on how to use HubSpot properly.
What drew you to HiViz?
Watching how much fun and passion went into the brand via social media drew me to HiViz originally.
Where are you from originally?
I’m originally from a small town called Armada (are-may-duh) in Michigan. Population 1,684. It’s located about an hour north of Detroit. Besides being Deck Enberg’s hometown, our only claim to fame is being the town next to Kid Rock's hometown.

A fun fact about me is that my kryptonite is being asked to give a fun fact about myself.
What's your favorite book?
A book I can read over and over again (and do every winter) is the Lord Of The Rings trilogy.
Would you rather fight a horse-sized duck or a hundred duck-sized horses?
If I had to choose between fighting a horse-sized duck or a hundred duck-sized horses, I choose both at once. It’s the closest to Jurassic Park I’ll ever get.
