What is your background?
I’ve held positions in pro sports, owned and operated two businesses and for the last 25 years been in the hunting & shooting industry working for manufacturers and an NGO. I grew up one of three boys, spending summers at our family beach house in North Carolina. Dad was passionate about fishing and I think that’s where I developed an interest in hunting – no boat to wash down! The travel, the food, the places and cultures, and the people I meet, led me to pursue adventures around the world. I have eleven species in the Safari Club International World Recordbook, nine more pending, am in the Spanish Professional Hunters Association's 300 Point Club and halfway to the GSCO Capra World Slam, and have a bucket list that should keep me busy.
What do you do at HiViz?
Job Title: Director of Marketing
Start Date: August 2025
Describe your work/day-to-day
Every day begins with convincing my dog that I indeed will return. I manage opportunities and projects to support our sales team, alongside promoting and communicating the brand and its line of exceptional products that help first responders work more safely and effectively.
What drew you to HiViz?
I had no idea who they were. Considering my 20+ years in the outdoor industry, my first thought was the rifle/pistol/bow fiber optic sight company. It wasn’t until I met Sam and Kaoma that my interest in HiViz really took off. What they have built and their enthusiasm for what it can be spoke to everything I look for in company culture, reinforced by the palpable happiness of the team as part of the success and journey. It’s a great time to hop aboard the rocket ship!
Where are you from originally?
Gastonia, North Carolina.

Would you rather have the ability to see through physical objects but be permanently colorblind, or have super hearing but only in one ear?
Bionic hearing for hunting? Boom! Until a squirrel sneaks up on my bad side and steals my snacks..
